It is a short fixed paragraph you copy out in your own handwriting, declaring that all the information you submitted in the application form is correct, true and valid. The wording belongs to the notification — you fill only your name, and your date of birth on the SBI text. You write it on paper, then scan or photograph the sheet and upload it as a JPG. IBPS states that the signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration you upload are matched against what you write on the attendance sheet and call letter at the exam centre, and that a mismatch there is grounds for disqualification, so the handwriting has to be genuinely yours. ### How do I write a handwritten declaration? Copy the exact sentence for your exam from the what-to-write section below — do not paraphrase it or add lines of your own. Write it on plain white paper in black ink, in English, in your own handwriting and not in capital letters: IBPS RRB's notification lists those four as its declaration instructions. Keep to the official sentence so the writing stays large enough to read. IBPS RRB's declaration instructions state the format most plainly: written in English only, on white paper with black ink, in the candidate's own handwriting, and not in capital letters. IBPS SO's notification and the official RBI Assistant scanning guideline say the same. The file itself is a JPG at 800 x 400 pixels, 200 DPI, 50-100 KiB — the table below carries the figure for each exam with its verified date. Outside banking, an exam that asks for a declaration can word its rules differently, so check your own form. ### What is the IBPS handwritten declaration text? Recent IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk and IBPS RRB notifications use: "I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required." SBI PO and SBI Clerk use a longer text that adds your date of birth and ends with: "The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine." Confirm the wording in your current official notification. ### What gets a handwritten declaration rejected? The official upload instructions name these: capital letters, which IBPS SO's notification and the RBI Assistant scanning guideline both say is not accepted; a declaration that is not in your own handwriting, because IBPS RRB's instructions say it must be in the candidate's own handwriting; writing in another language, because the same instructions say English only; and a file outside the dimensions or KB range your form states. IBPS adds that the uploaded declaration is matched against your handwriting on the attendance sheet and call letter at the exam centre, and calls a mismatch grounds for disqualification. Recent IBPS CRP notifications also allow a typed declaration plus left thumb impression if you are physically unable to write — confirm that exception in your current notification. ### Does my name or the generated image leave my device?
