The GST registration checklist asks for a photo of every stakeholder (promoter, partner, director) and of the authorised signatory as JPG only, maximum 100 KB. Most proofs of the principal place of business — electricity bill, municipal khata copy, property tax receipt, consent letter — are JPG or PDF up to 100 KB each, while rent/lease agreements and constitution proofs get 1 MB. ### What is the EPFO profile photo size? The EPFO member portal takes a profile photo under 100 KB as JPG/JPEG (View > Profile > upload photo). EPFO KYC itself needs no document upload — you only enter document names and numbers, and Aadhaar-validated UANs update profile details without any file. ### What if my document is not readable at 100 KB? Portals reject unreadable scans — NSP's scholarship FAQ puts it as: 'The documents uploaded must be in readable mode otherwise application is liable to be rejected.' Scan flat in good light, crop to the document edges so no kilobytes go to the table around it, and check the preview text before downloading.
