How to prepare
- Use a recent colour passport photograph with a white or light background, taken in a professional studio.
- Wear non-white (preferably dark) clothing; avoid a cap, hat or sunglasses, and keep the face at least 50% of the frame.
- Differs from RRB NTPC CEN 05/2024, which requires 20-50 KiB for this same 320 x 240 px frame - do not reuse NTPC's KB range for Group D.
- PwBD candidates using a scribe must additionally upload the scribe's passport-size photograph on a plain white background, JPEG, 50-100 KiB - the same rules as this candidate photo.

How to prepare
- Sign on white paper in black ink, using running handwriting - not block, capital or disjointed letters.
- Keep the full signature centred inside the 140 x 60 px frame.
- Differs from RRB NTPC CEN 05/2024, which requires 10-40 KiB for this same 140 x 60 px box - do not reuse NTPC's KB range for Group D.
- This is not the live signature (with Left Thumb Impression) that the candidate re-writes on the printed e-Call letter in front of the invigilator at the CBT venue; that on-site step cannot be prepared here.

How to prepare
- Use this only if requesting the free sleeper-class rail-travel pass as an SC/ST candidate; it is not a universal upload for every Group D applicant.
- Differs from RRB NTPC CEN 05/2024, which requires this same certificate as a JPG/JPEG scan (50-100 KiB), not a PDF - do not reuse NTPC's format for Group D.
- No OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD/CCAA certificate upload is listed among this CEN's application-stage 'ONLINE Mandatory Scanned Documents'; those are produced physically at Document Verification.
About RRB Group D
RRB Group D (Level-1) CEN 08/2024 needs a photograph and a signature. SC/ST applicants can also upload a community certificate PDF for a free rail pass. Thumb impression and self-declaration are taken live at the CBT venue, not as files here.
