What photo and signature size do government exam forms need?
Most Indian government exam forms ask for a passport-style photo (usually 20 KB to 100 KB, JPG) and a signature (usually 10 KB to 20 KB, JPG) at a fixed pixel size. The exact photo size, signature size and KB limit change from exam to exam. Each exam page here shows the values from that exam's official notification.
How do I resize a photo or signature to the required KB size?
Open the matching tool — for example the signature resizer or resize photo to 50 KB — and upload your file. You get it back at the exam's size and KB limit.
Are these upload rules based on official sources?
Yes. We check every exam against the official notification or application portal and show the date we last checked it. SarkariDoc is not a government website. Read the latest official notification before you submit.
