Why was my image rejected as too small?
Some 20 KB portals also set a minimum: MahaDBT wants 5-20 KB. A 3 KB file fails those checks just like a 30 KB file. Set Min KB in Advanced settings if your portal prints a minimum. For Sarathi's 10-20 KB driving licence photo, use the driving licence page — that kit also locks 420 x 525 pixels.
Should I use JPG or PNG for a 20 KB image?
JPG. Every 20 KB portal in the table asks for JPG or JPEG, and a photo saved as PNG almost never fits under 20 KB. This tool outputs a real JPG by default — not a PNG renamed to .jpg, which portals detect and reject.
