Create a square left thumb impression image for exam application forms that ask for a left thumb impression upload, and validate the output before you download it. Crop your scan to a 240 x 240 pixel square, then compress until the file sits inside the required range — most IBPS and SBI banking forms accept both a minimum of 20 KiB and a maximum of 50 KiB, so a file that is too small can fail the same as one that is too large. Switch to the exact IBPS or SBI preset in the selector when your notification lists official numbers.

Generic KB tools are useful for quick online forms, but government exam portals often check dimensions, file type, source-specific crop rules and sometimes minimum KB ranges. Keep the custom output label visible unless you switch to an official-source exam preset.
Many forms use a square thumb impression area. The selected preset uses a square crop, but official exam rules can differ.
IBPS and SBI banking notifications list a square left thumb impression JPG/JPEG at 240 x 240 pixels preferred and 20-50 KiB, and both the minimum and the maximum are enforced. Use the IBPS RRB, IBPS Clerk, IBPS PO, SBI Clerk, or SBI PO left thumb impression size pages for source-backed limits, or choose an IBPS preset in the selector.

Yes. DSSSB requires both a left and a right thumb impression as separate uploads, each JPG at 110 x 140 pixels and up to 40 KiB per the official DSSSB combined-examination instructions. Use the DSSSB thumb impression size page for the exact source-verified preset.
1) Put a clear left thumb impression on plain white paper using black or blue ink. 2) Scan or photograph it in good light so the ridges are visible. 3) Upload it here and crop it to a square. 4) Choose your exam preset, or keep the 20-50 KiB default, and let the tool compress it inside the required range. 5) Download the file and upload it on your application form.
Exam portals often ask for more than one file. Keep moving through the next file type, or switch to a full exam kit when the official preset exists.
